First Anchor-Out - Judges

Well even though we have practiced anchoring this was the first time we have every gotten to anchor out for the night.  It was so much fun... but expensive!  We sailed around the bay and headed to anchor in front of Judges for dinner and overnight stay.  When we took the dinghy over to Judges and decided to pick Philip up as he was by himself and did not have a dinghy... Our problem was that we only had 2 life jackets.  Bad Mistake.  The Parks and Wildlife department stopped us and gave us a little present!

After our episode with the Parks and Wildlife department we made our way over to Judges for fun and food.  loads of people showed up and we even had a visit from Willie Nelson.

However, getting to anchor out made it worth it.  The sunset was magnificent.

What fun!  We dinghied over to Waltzing Matilda for a visit and then when we went to take the Roz and Fern back to Judges to get their car would you believe the P & W showed up again?  We were ready for them this time.

With a beautiful sunrise to finish of the trip, even though it was not far from home our first anchor out was a great time still a great time.

First Sunset Sail - Kay's Birthday

What a great birthday!  My present.... We took our first Sunset Sail on the Cambria tonight.  It was so wonderful.

The sunset was not as 'perfect' as the first one we had on Too Much Fun... but since it was just Al and I,  it was perfect for us!

The night was clear and cool and we had a wonderful time.  We got to use our running lights for the first time!

And the beautiful full moon as it came up as the sun was setting was spectacular

Cool!  Can't think of a better way to spend a birthday!  Thanks Captain Al!!! I love you.
