We take the boat out for the first time

Well, the time came for us to un-cover the binacle and start this baby up.

Al started her for the1st time, pulled her out of the slip, turned her around and pulled back in.

All went well but we felt it was best to wait until we had a crew to take her out.  Just not ready yet to do it by ourselves.we are not confident enough to sail her yet.  But soon.

Decisions! Decisions!

We are looking for just the right boat!  Is this the one?   Decisions! Decisions

She looks pretty good sailing down the Clear Lake Channel (Photo taken from the 146 Bridge by the previous owner).

She looks good out of the water too!

Now for the inside.... Looking down into the boat from the companionway stairs.
What a beautiful cabin!

The Shower and Head look good.

                The Navigation Station works too.

Now lets see how she sails!  Carolyn Lexa, our Broker, and her husband Dan took us out for our sea trials.

Kay is pretty comfortable at the Helm... as Carolyn explains the intricacies of sailing and assures her that she will do just fine.

Finally, Al is certain that this will be a suitable new "office" and that he will be able to sell lots of steel here.

So! Here we go..........
We are now the proud owners of a
SAILBOAT!!!!!
