Morgan City/Berwick

We left Delcambre and headed to Morgan City/Berwick...  Several showers kept down the heat and we rolled under the bridge around 4:00.  Last Trade and More Good Timin tied up at Morgan City dock.  AGoode Ketch, La Vie Dansante and Cambria tied up at Berwick.  We settled in to toss and turn all night with the current, barges and of course the train track above us.

We were so set on having dinner at Bee Bee's, but alas, it had closed down since our last trip.

                                                                                                                                                                Ron and Linda decided to dress up as the Bobsie Twins... although they claim neither knew they had dressed alike.  

Susan found us a taxi (at $5.49 for the six of us) to Morgan City.  We ate at Rita Mae's.  What a great little place... The food was country cooking wonderful!
