We awoke to cool, overcast skies and headed out to Mermentau
about 7:00. How nice it was to have the
cooler weather to travel in. The trip was not too long and no showers, which
was awesome. We arrived at our favorite
anchorage (so far J
) at about 3:30, set the anchor and kicked back.
Pork roast in the oven… it’time to sit back and enjoy the view…. We tried the QCR anchor again and this time it stuck first time! We may be able to do this after all!
