We got up early and decided that we were about over Bay Point Marina. There was just nothing to do there... Although it was a bit choppy and winds were over 10kts we decided to
make the short trip over to St. Andrews Marina.
We stopped at the fuel dock on our way in and took on fuel and pumped out. The current and wind made it a bit dicey. However, the deck hands were great and helped us get in unscathed. Then, after a couple of turn arounds and waiting for a little pleasure boat to pull out we made our way to the Lay-Along and tied up.
We then unloaded the bikes and headed over to Uncle Ernie's for lunch. Wow! What a great place...
After securing our slip and having lunch rode the bikes around for a while getting the lay of the land.
Later that morning the guys went off to find a place to watch the NFL Playoff Games and Diane and I went to Jeanie's Coin Operated Laundry to wash our clothes. The girl in the Marina told her about the place.... we however went way out of our way going to the wrong one when the correct one was just a couple blocks from the house. But along the way we did get a kick out of finding a motel that was changing over to a Knights Inn.. The same chain that we stayed in on our trip to find a boat where Curtis found the hotel from hell in Punta Gorda.
Once we had our laundry duties taken care of we went Geocaching. We found a couple and I think we may have sparked a renewed interest.
We also stopped by Walmart... only to be told to leave the store because there was a fire alarm.... after going to Target for a few groceries we headed home.
Lexi and Curtis bonding.
